Why I love the banking system in Saudi Arabia?
| May 17, 2012 | Posted by Jam Izz under Frugality, Money transfer |
Saudi Arabia is admittedly not a customary place for somebody who used to have a free kind of life particularly to the happy go lucky, party kind of people. If one couldn’t stand and live one Friday night not to go on a party then my advice is to avoid coming and staying here in the Kingdom. But for those Filipinos who used to live a simple and inexpensive lifestyle and who are eager to… Read more…

A guest post from James Brighton. We all know that the world we live in has changed dramatically since the economic crisis that hit in the world in the late 2000s. When I announced to friends and other people that I am going home and will settle in the Philippines for good, lots of them were surprised, some were thinking that I got retrenched by the company I am working with. Actually the truth is, I think, I was partly retrenched and the other part was my decision to leave. Sounds complicated I know, I was retrenched because my boss left the company but offered me… Read more…

This is not a farewell post from me or a sentimental written speech that most people do before leaving the company or country. This is just a mere update of what is recently going on in my life here overseas. Let me begin my story back in 2010 when my boss had an email conversation with somebody close to him from his previous company. He mentioned once his idea about leaving Saudi Arabia for good… Read more…

Today marks my 31st birthday and while I am checking and reading the greetings in my inbox, I remember the post I made on my Facebook notes 2 years ago. I quickly opened my FB account and jumped into “My Notes” and read my post. After 2 years, I would say, I’d still wish the same to all the people who became part of my life, may it be, in blogosphere, personal relationships or virtual… Read more…

It seems most of the people around the world are very excited about the Halloween season. I observed a jam packed photos of my friends on my Facebook wall wearing scary costumes with make-ups and masks. Honestly, my mind is deliberately working while looking at their photos, I can silently calculate how much they’ve spent for the new clothes and props for their costumes. In addition, every time I turn on my TV (a virtual… Read more…
My Portfolio

I grabbed (again) the book last weekend that I left on my table that I temporarily stopped reading a month ago. The chapter that I came across discussed about honestly computing all earnings in my entire life. That means from my sideline business during my childhood to part time job in my college years up to today.
